What we do

Bioresearches is a multi-discipline practice specialising in all aspects of ecology and the sustainable use of the natural environment. The principals and staff are a highly trained team with complementary backgrounds in terrestrial, freshwater, coastal and marine biology.

The practice was formed in 1972 by a nucleus of biologists who saw a need for scientists who could supply detailed and factual information on the environment - the type of information that would allow the environmental effects of proposals to be accurately assessed; provide for the use of a natural resource without detriment; or enable adverse effects to be minimised or avoided.

The provision of such information requires a scientist who is not only highly trained, but is also able to apply specialised information to problems associated with the interaction between people and their environment.

We believe the key aspect of our service is the provision of factual information; information collected using proven techniques and presented in an unbiased manner.

The Bioresearches Ecology Group has offices in Auckland, Christchurch and Hamilton
